Please find below information regarding the Bronze, Silver and Gold expeditions.  You can also view a guide to the Expedition Kit by clicking here.

BRONZE EXPEDITION:  Collingwood students have the opportunity to sign up to the Bronze Award in Year 9 as from January 2017.  They will work on the Skill, Volunteering and Physical Recreation Sections independently but will be given the opportunity to complete a practice expedition in the beautiful Surrey Hills which is organised  by the College.  This is done during early May, following successful completion of a camp craft training session at the College in March, and involves spending one night at Bentley Copse Camp site in Shere.  If students successfully pass this practice they will be able to complete their final expedition, also in the Surrey Hills, which takes place during early June.

SILVER EXPEDITION:  Collingwood students have the opportunity to sign up to the Silver Award in Year 11. They will work on the Skill, Volunteering and Physical Recreation Sections independently but will be given the opportunity to complete a practice expedition in the New Forest which is organised by the College. This is done in March and involves spending two nights in the New Forest. The students will then be able to complete their final expedition in April in the Surrey Hills if they have successfully completed the practice expedition.

GOLD EXPEDITION: Collingwood students have the opportunity to sign up to the Gold Award in Year 12. They will work on the Skill, Volunteering and Physical Recreation Sections independently but will be given the opportunity to complete a practice expedition in either the Black Mountains or the Brecon Beacons which is organised by the College. In Year 13, the students will then be able to complete their final expedition in the Black Mountains or the Brecon Beacons.
