Attendance Matters
Congratulations to our Attendance Champions who received their attendance badges this morning (Friday 25 October) from Mr Cleary, Head of Upper College, for the academic year 23-24 (Summer term).
Sixth Form Revue Rocks!
Collingwood College Sixth Form students were thrilled to host the annual Sixth Form Revue in Kingston Theatre last Friday (18 October), which was filled with comedy, dances, skits and songs.
Macbeth Production
Many thanks to Mr Green and the Performing Arts Department for organising the Macbeth Production on Tuesday night (15 October) after College in Kingston Theatre.
'Red Carpet' Event
Miss Watling, Principal, hosted a ‘red carpet’ celebration event for students this morning (Thursday 17 October) where she was joined by Mrs Silverstein, governor, who presented the certificates.
Brilliant Finish by Status Quo!
Last weekend our Status Racing team competed in the International Greenpower finals, and I am delighted to say that our car, Status Quo, finished 11th in the championship (out of over 250 cars).
MP Visit!
We were delighted to welcome MP Al Pinkerton to Collingwood College today (Friday 11 October) who met our KS4 Student Leadership Team.
It's Hello Yellow Day!
Today (Thursday 10 October), we're celebrating and proud to be part of Hello Yellow to raise awareness about Mental Health. Collingwood College staff and students are wearing yellow ribbons and yellow tops to show that ‘we stand brighter, together’.
Study Skills Event!
We were delighted to welcome Michele Miller to Collingwood College yesterday (Wednesday 9 October) to speak to our Years 11 and 13 students about preparing for their forthcoming examinations and to help support our students with developing their study skills.
Open Evening Sparkles!
It was a pleasure to welcome parents, carers and their sons and daughters to our campus last night to experience the Collingwood College ethos at our Open evening.
