Roboteers Set a Collingwood Record!!
Last weekend, Collingwood College students attended the Robots Live show in Maidenhead with Mr Thomas (Head of Design and Technology) which was filmed for the new TV series Mech Mania.
Our team worked incredibly hard keeping their fleet of robots running across 4 shows and performed in front of over 2000 people. Despite a few issues with their heavyweight robot Oblivion, our featherweight machine Maverick won the first show on Sunday before making the final for the first time! The team also received high praise for their dedication and enthusiasm from the other teams and the Robots Live crew.
We will let you know when the final will be televised to see if Maverick won the whole show…!
